Let’s begin your journey together…
At Focused Mind Therapy you will be offered acceptance, support and non-judgemental understanding, providing a safe and nurturing environment where you will be valued and understood. A place we can start your journey together.
By working in an integrative way, combining various therapeutic techniques to suit individual needs, allows flexibility to adapt to what works best for you, providing a well-rounded healing process.
“It is only when a person feels understood without judgement that they can begin to explore who they truly are.”
Carl Rogers
When we start to look at our lives it can feel overwhelming, but it’s a powerful step toward understanding ourselves and making meaningful changes.
By developing a deeper understanding of our emotions, learning how to manage them effectively brings self-awareness to handle stress and respond to situations in a healthy way.
Exploring thoughts, emotions and behaviours to identify patterns you wish to change. Reframing negative thoughts and setting healthy boundaries while challenging self-doubt.
About Me…Sharon Lenihan
Thank you for taking the time to visit Focused Mind Therapy (counselling for adults and young people, based in Wokingham).
I am an experienced MBACP Registered Counsellor offering integrative therapy, in-person, online or by telephone.
I have previously worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults in an investigative and multi-agency setting before transitioning into counselling and currently provide counselling for survivors of sexual trauma through a Reading based charity.
In sessions with me, you are important, and your journey matters. As an integrative counsellor, I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs, drawing from different therapeutic methods to support you in the best way possible. Whether you're seeking a safe space to process your emotions, develop coping strategies, or explore personal growth, I am here to walk alongside you with care, understanding, and respect.
